What VokaLQ Labs Private Limited collects, why, how long we keep it, and what you can make us do with it. Written to be read rather than to be survived.

Two different sets of data
This policy covers two things that are worth keeping apart. The first is what this website collects about you, a visitor. The second is what the product handles on behalf of a business that uses VokaLQ — their customers’ calls and messages. We are the data fiduciary for the first. For the second we are a data processor acting on that business’s instructions, and they decide what is collected and for how long.
What this website collects
Nothing at all until you fill in the early access form. There is no tracking pixel, no advertising cookie and no third-party analytics script on this site. If you never submit the form, we do not know you were here beyond ordinary server request logs.
When you do submit it, we collect exactly these:
- Name — so we know who we are replying to.
- Business name — so the quote matches the kind of business you run.
- Email address — to send the quote and reply to you.
- Phone number — to call you back, which is usually faster than email.
We use them to reply to you and to quote a plan. We do not add you to a marketing list you did not ask for, and we do not sell or rent them to anybody. They are stored in our database, hosted by Supabase, and kept until you ask us to delete them or until the enquiry has clearly gone cold — whichever comes first.
The form also carries two anti-spam measures: a hidden decoy field, and a check on how quickly the form was completed. Neither collects anything about you; both exist so that automated submissions do not reach us.
What the product handles
When a business runs VokaLQ on its line, the agent handles that business’s calls and WhatsApp messages. That means the caller’s phone number, what was said on the call, a recording and a transcript of it, and whatever the conversation established — an appointment, a budget, a callback.
- Callers are told. Every call opens with a spoken recording disclosure before anything else happens, in line with Indian telecom norms. Nothing is captured quietly.
- The records belong to the business. They live in that business’s own account, are exportable in full at any time, and are deleted when they ask.
- We do not train anybody else’s product on them. One tenant’s conversations are not used to improve another’s service, and they are not sold or shared.
If you were called by, or called, a business using VokaLQ and you want your data removed, the fastest route is to ask that business directly — they control it. Write to us at app.vokalq@gmail.com and we will help you reach them.
Who we share it with
Only the infrastructure needed to run the service, and only to that end: our database and authentication host, our telephony and messaging carriers, and the speech and language model providers that make the agent work. Each of them processes data on our instructions. We do not sell personal data to anyone.
We do not share personal data for advertising.
Your rights
Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 you can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to erase it, and withdraw a consent you previously gave. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf.
Write to app.vokalq@gmail.com with “Data request” in the subject line. We will come back within 30 days. Complaints reach a person at the same address.
Where the data sits
Our infrastructure is operated from India and our hosting providers may process data in other countries in the ordinary course of running their services.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page changes with it. It is worth checking that date rather than taking our word for it.
