AI outbound calling that works your own list

Upload the contacts you already have — the people who enquired, the customers you served, the ones who registered — and the agent calls every number, has the conversation in their language, and comes back with a result against each name. It is not a dialler pointed at strangers: calling a purchased or scraped list is against our terms of use, and the Indian rules that govern outbound calling are set up with you before a campaign runs.

In short

  • Calls your own contact list: your customers, your enquirers, the people who registered with you.
  • A purchased or scraped list is prohibited under our terms of use.
  • DLT/TRAI registration, consent and the 9am–9pm window are set up with you before a campaign runs.
  • Every contact comes back with an outcome, written onto that customer’s record.
  • Inbound and outbound draw on one monthly pool of minutes, capped rather than billed as overage.

What a campaign is here

A campaign is a contact list, a short brief, and a start time. The list is imported as a spreadsheet, the brief is what the agent should mention on every call, and details that differ per person — a date, an amount, a batch name — are merged into the call from the row itself.

From there it dials on its own and keeps its own book on every contact:

  • Each contact carries a status, how many attempts have been made, and what happened last time.
  • Calls are placed several at a time rather than one after another, at a rate set by your plan.
  • A campaign can be scheduled, and repeated on a cycle if the work is recurring.
  • A contact who asks to be rung back later is flagged as one rather than dialled again blindly.
  • Somebody who says they are not interested is marked, and the campaign is finished with them.

What comes back from each call

Every call ends with an outcome, and the outcome is the point of the whole exercise — it is the difference between a list you have called and a list you know something about.

Connected calls and unanswered ones are counted separately, so a campaign report is not flattered by ring-outs. Somebody who picked up and hung up during the greeting is its own category, because a lot of those means the opening line is the problem rather than the list.

  • Booked, when the call ended in an appointment.
  • Lead saved, with what they wanted, their city and a callback number.
  • Callback asked, with the time they said.
  • Not interested, marked and left alone.
  • Feedback collected, when the campaign was a feedback run.
  • No answer, voicemail, or hung up early, counted apart from the rest.

The rules this runs inside

Outbound calling to Indian numbers requires DLT/TRAI registration, the consent of the person being called, and the permitted calling window of 9am to 9pm. We set that up with you before campaigns run rather than around you, and the dashboard says so on the campaigns screen itself.

The boundary is the list, not the direction of the call. Ringing your own customers, your own enquirers and the people who registered with you is a normal thing for a business to do. Buying a list and ringing strangers is a different business, it is prohibited under our terms of use, and it is the fastest way to get your own number blocked.

Every outbound call opens with the same spoken recording disclosure as an inbound one.

Which lists may be called
The listAllowedWhy
Your own customersYesAn existing relationship, and a business they chose to deal with.
People who enquiredYesThey contacted you first; the call is a continuation.
People who registeredYesThey gave you the number for this purpose.
A list you boughtNoNo consent attached to it, whatever the seller said. Prohibited under our terms.
Numbers scraped from the webNoSame problem, plus the fastest route to your number being flagged.

What businesses actually use it for

The pattern is always the same: more numbers that deserve a call than people with time to call them.

  • Following up the enquiries an advertisement produced, twice, without anybody’s evening disappearing.
  • Reminding people of an appointment, a renewal or a payment date.
  • Feedback calls after a visit, a delivery or a service.
  • Registration and admission drives, ringing the people who signed up to confirm and answer questions.
  • Reactivating your own past customers, in the language they are comfortable in.

FAQ

Outbound calling: common questions

Can AI make outbound calls for my business?

Yes. You upload a contact list and the agent calls every number on it, holds the conversation in the contact’s language, and writes an outcome against each name — booked, lead saved, callback requested, not interested, or no answer. The results land on the same customer records the inbound line writes to.

Will you call a list I bought?

No. Calling a purchased or scraped list is prohibited under our terms of use. Outbound here means your own contacts: your customers, the people who enquired, and the people who registered with you. That boundary is also what keeps your business number from being blocked.

What about DLT and TRAI rules?

They apply, and we set them up with you before any campaign runs: DLT/TRAI registration, documented consent for the people being called, and the permitted 9am to 9pm calling window. A vendor who does not mention any of this is not saving you work, they are moving the risk onto your number.

Do outbound calls use the same minutes as incoming calls?

Yes. Inbound and outbound draw on one monthly pool of minutes and the plan cap applies to both — a campaign stops at the cap rather than billing past it. If you plan to run regular campaigns, say so when you ask for a quote, because it changes which plan fits.

Can it make the calls in Malayalam?

Yes, and in English, Tamil, Hindi and Arabic. Outbound calls use the same voice and the same language handling as the inbound line, including mixed Malayalam and English, so a campaign to a Kerala list does not sound like a translated script being read at somebody.

How many people can it call at once?

Several at a time rather than one after another, at a rate set by your plan. It is not unlimited, and pacing a campaign sensibly matters anyway: a hundred simultaneous calls to one town is how a number gets reported.
