About VokaLQ

VokaLQ is an AI voice agent with a CRM built into it. It answers your business phone line and your WhatsApp in the language the customer opens with, calls your own contacts back out for follow-ups, feedback and enquiry campaigns, and writes every conversation onto one customer record.

Why this exists

A small business in Kerala loses customers to the phone ringing out. Not to bad service — to a Saturday afternoon when every chair is full, an evening after the desk has gone home, a job where your hands are inside somebody’s wiring. The caller does not leave a voicemail. They ring the next number on the search results page.

The existing answer to that is a human receptionist, which most of these businesses cannot justify, or a phone menu, which callers hang up on. Voice AI has been the third option for a while, but almost all of it is an English product with other languages bolted on afterwards. It handles a clean English sentence well and a real phone call badly — and a real phone call in Kerala is Malayalam with English words in the middle of it, from someone who interrupts and changes their mind halfway through.

What we build

One system that answers the phone, answers WhatsApp, and remembers the customer across both. It speaks English, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi and Arabic, books appointments while the call is still running, and writes the conversation into a CRM so nobody has to type it up afterwards.

Answering the phone is one module of several. The same agent runs outbound campaigns against your own contact list, sorts the interested enquiries from the rest, makes feedback calls after a job, and registers complaints as cases for the desks whose calls are complaints rather than bookings. Which of those a business sees is decided at setup — a salon runs bookings and reminders, a service desk runs the complaints board and nothing else.

It was tuned on real business calls in Malayalam and Manglish — the accents, the background noise and the odd hours those calls actually arrive in — rather than on clean studio audio. That is the part that is hard to copy and the reason the product exists at all.

What to call it

This category has no agreed name. VokaLQ gets described as an AI receptionist, an AI calling agent, an AI voice agent, an AI voicebot, a virtual receptionist or an AI call answering service, and all of those refer to the same product. Where people do intend a distinction, they usually mean direction: “receptionist” for answering calls that come in, “calling agent” for placing calls that go out. VokaLQ does both, and answering is the primary use.

One term we do not accept is AI telecaller. That means outbound sales calling against a purchased list, and it is prohibited under our terms of use. Outbound here means calling your own contacts — your customers, the people who enquired, the people who registered with you — for follow-ups, reminders, feedback and enquiry campaigns, with DLT registration and consent in place first. If you want a dialer for cold campaigns against a bought list, this is the wrong product. There is a longer version of all of this on the AI calling agent page, and a plain explanation of the category on what an AI receptionist is.

Where we are

Built and run from Kerala, India. We are launching with businesses here first, because it is the market we understand and the languages we are strongest in.

The company behind the product is VokaLQ Labs Private Limited.

What is not true yet

We would rather you read this here than find it out on a call. VokaLQ is in early access, not general availability. We have not published customer counts, ratings or reviews, and we do not name the businesses that use it — so if you see a figure or a logo attributed to us somewhere, it did not come from us. Only the entry price is published, because plans are sized to call volume and quoted per business. Languages beyond the five listed are planned, not available.

The one claim you do not have to take on trust is the main one. There is a live number on the home page. Ring it and judge for yourself.
