AI calls that tell you which of your leads are actually interested

An advertisement produces three hundred numbers and a team of two. VokaLQ rings every one of them, asks the questions you would have asked, and marks each call interested, not interested or call me later — so what reaches your team is a shortlist with the reason attached, not a spreadsheet with nothing in the notes column.

In short

  • Rings every enquiry on your list and asks the qualifying questions you briefed it with.
  • Marks each call interested, not interested, callback requested or booked.
  • Interested callers become leads with their intent, city and a callback number.
  • Scores are set by your team, not invented by the AI.
  • Not-interested contacts are marked and left alone, so nobody calls them twice.

Three hundred numbers and two people to call them

The arithmetic of an enquiry list is unforgiving. At five minutes a call including the ones that ring out, three hundred contacts is most of a working week, and the value of a lead decays fastest in the first day. So the list gets worked from the top until something more urgent happens, and the bottom two hundred are never called at all.

What makes it worse is that most of the list is not interested. Your team spends the week discovering that, one call at a time, and the genuinely interested ones wait in the queue behind the people who filled a form by accident.

What the agent asks, and what it marks

You brief it the way you would brief a new person on the phone: what to say first, what to ask, what to answer, and what to hand over rather than attempt. It then asks those questions in the contact’s own language and listens to the answers instead of reading a script at them.

At the end of the call it marks an outcome, and writes what was said into the record in the caller’s own words rather than as a tick box. A caller who is interested but wants the call at a better time is a callback with the time they said, not a lost lead.

  • Interested, saved as a lead with their intent, city and a callback number.
  • Booked, when the conversation ended in an actual appointment.
  • Callback requested, with when they asked to be rung.
  • Not interested, marked so nobody spends another call finding out.
  • No answer or voicemail, counted separately so the report is honest.

Where a qualified lead lands

In a pipeline your team works, not in a transcript folder. Each lead carries where it came from, what the person wanted, their city, a callback number, its stage, and who on your team owns it. Unclaimed leads sit in a shared pool rather than being assigned to somebody who is on leave.

Scores are set by your team, not by the AI. We would rather the machine record what was said and let the people who know the business decide what it is worth than have a model invent a number that looks authoritative.

The whole board exports, so the list you started with comes back as a list you can act on.

What it does not decide

It does not negotiate, discount, or promise anything that is not in the brief you gave it. Asked something outside that, it takes the details and hands the call over as a callback task with the transcript attached rather than improvising an answer that your team then has to walk back.

It also cannot tell you a lead is good. It can tell you what the person said, which of your questions they answered, and whether they asked to be called again. Everything past that is judgement, and judgement is the part you are still doing.

FAQ

Lead qualification: common questions

Can AI qualify leads over the phone?

Yes. The agent calls each enquiry, asks the qualifying questions you briefed it with, and marks the outcome — interested, not interested, callback requested or booked. Interested callers become leads carrying their intent, city and callback number, so your team starts from a shortlist rather than the raw list.

What questions does it ask?

Yours. There is no fixed script: you brief it on what to ask, what it may answer from your own information, and what it should hand to a person instead. That brief is set up with you and can be changed between campaigns.

Does it score leads automatically?

No, and that is deliberate. It records what the caller actually said and marks the outcome of the call; the score on a lead is set by your team. An automatic number would look authoritative and be a guess, and your staff already know which enquiries are worth chasing.

Can it qualify leads in Malayalam?

Yes, and in English, Tamil, Hindi and Arabic, including mixed Malayalam and English. That matters more on a qualifying call than on a booking call, because a person hedges, changes their mind and answers sideways, and those are exactly the sentences a translation layer flattens.

What happens to the leads that are not interested?

They are marked and left alone. The campaign is finished with them, so nobody on your team calls to find out what the agent already found out, and the report tells you what share of the list that was — which is usually the most useful number in it.

Do I have to import my leads, or does it work with the ones that ring in?

Both. Callers to your own line are captured as leads on the inbound call, and an existing list can be imported and called out. They land in the same pipeline, with the source recorded, so an enquiry that came from an advertisement is distinguishable from one that came from the phone.
